At Champion Swimming, we are dedicated to the safety and success of each and every students in our program.
Our unique teaching method and low class ratio provides programs that are very different from your neighborhood community centers or other swim schools.
Our swim programs also teach students all 4 competitive strokes and lifesaving techniques. They are well prepared for the competitive program or lifesaving program if they so chose to.
Champion Swimming is located in Aurora, our swimming lessons are conducted at pool locations that are convenient for the ones that live in Aurora, Newmarket, Richmond Hill and surrounding areas in Toronto.
Coaches
Paul Lau - Head Coach
NCCP Level 3 Senior Coach with over 15 years of coaching experience from novice to provincial and national level athletes in Canada. Paul has coached numerous swimmers to achieve elite age group level performances, getting swimmers to the podium at Provincial and National competitions as well as qualification to compete at Canada Olympic Trials. Paul is currently the Head Coach of Champion Swimming and Aurora Ducks Swimming Club.
Albert Hau - Assistant Head Coach
Albert is a former competitive swimmer and was a member on Team Hong Kong. Albert is a NCCP certified coach and has over 15 years of coaching experience and have coached different level of swimmers from beginners to elite. Some of his swimmers made it to Team Hong Kong and represented Hong Kong at international competitions.
Christopher McLelland - Coach
Chris started swimming at the age of 11 with the Aurora Ducks Swimming Club. During his time as a swimmer, he was able to medal at both regional and provincial levels. Chris was also ranked in the top 50 in the 50m, 100m and 200m Freestyle and Butterfly across all of Ontario and Canada for his age group. Chris is a NCCP Certified Coach and has been coaching with the Aurora Ducks since 2016. He is also a certified Lifeguard with CPR and First-aid training. Chris would like to see his swimmers improve to a level they can be proud of and have fun while getting there.
Nicole Lau - Coach / Senior Instructor
Nicole is a competitive swimmer with the Aurora Ducks Swimming Club competing at the National level. Nicole is a NCCP certified coach, certified Lifeguard with CPR and First-aid training.
Aryan Alinezhad - Senior Instructor
Aryan is one of our senior instructor who has been working at Champion Swimming for over 6 years. Aryan is a certified Lifeguard and certified in Standard First Aid.
Amanda Chu - Senior Instructor
Amanda is a former competitive swimmer with the Aurora Ducks Swimming Club. Amanda is one of our senior instructor who has been with working at Champion Swimming for over 5 years.
Juliette Cote - Instructor
Juliette is a former competitive swimmer with the Aurora Ducks Swimming Club. Juliette is a certified Lifeguard and certified in Standard First Aid.
Devyn Desjardins - Instructor
Devyn is a former competitive swimmer with Aurora Ducks Swimming Club. Devyn is a certified Lifeguard and certified in Standard First Aid.
