Do you live in Aurora, Newmarket, Richmond HIll area? Are you new to Champion Swimming? Is it your child’s first lesson? Here are our answers to questions that you may have.What do I need to bring to swimming lessons?
You should bring a bathing suit, towel, goggles are recommended and a re-usable swim diaper is REQUIRED if your child is under the age of 3. If you are in Parent & Tot class, don’t forget your suit too! Swim caps are also highly recommended especially for students with long hair. Goggles, swim caps and re-usable swim diapers are available for purchase at the pool! Let us know if you forget something - we probably have a spare that you can borrow!
Can I enroll after a swim session has started?
Of course! Our flexible scheduling allow our swimmers to start their session at any time. This way they can start the next session immediately after they finish a session. We see better progression in our swimmers with our flexible scheduling which provides no down time between sessions.
What is your cancellation policy?
You may cancel your enrollment up to 7 days prior to your first day of lessons for a refund; there will be a $50+HST process fee per student. No refund within 7 days prior to your first day of lesson. Cancellations during the session will be charged for lessons taken plus $50+HST administrative fee per swimmer. The remaining balance is prorated and returned to you as a computer credit toward future lessons. When you are ready to re-register the credit on your file will be deducted off the total cost for the program you are registering for.
Can I change my swim schedule after lessons have started?
We know families are busy. You are running from soccer to hockey to dance class and you have a lot of schedules to juggle! If you need to change your swim schedule just give us a call 24 hours before the start of the class that you would like to change schedule on, we will be happy to accommodate your needs if we have space available in your child’s level at another time.
Why do your programs cost what they do?
You may be curious to know why our program cost a little bit more than some other programs you have seen. At Champion Swimming, you get a lot of bang for your buck! Just a few of the costs associated with running a top quality program include: warm water pools that take a lot of energy to heat and are key to your child's progress and enjoyment; highly and frequently trained, well-treated and competitively paid staff...happy staff = happy swimmers; cutting edge water sanitation methods; Champion Swimming swimmers progress more quickly than other swimmers this means your child's lessons will actually cost you less in the long run!
